Budgam, Sep 10 (KNO): A minor boy was allegedly murdered by unknown persons in the Kechwari area of central Kashmir's Budgam district on Monday night. Official sources informed the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that during the intervening night of Monday-Tuesday, a minor boy was found dead under mysterious conditions with some marks on his neck. He has been identified as Zeeshan Ahmad Kalas, son of Bilal Ahmad Kalas, a resident of Kechwari Khansahib. Family members have alleged that their son was murdered, claiming that unknown assailants forcibly entered their house during the night and killed him with a knife, slitting his throat. Local villagers have condemned the crime and called for severe punishment for those responsible to prevent such incidents from happening again. They have also urged the police to conduct a thorough investigation and bring the culprits to justice. An official confirmed that the body was handed over to the family after completing medico-legal formalities, and an investigation into the case has been initiated—(KNO)
